Students have been studying mythology in several classes as an interdisciplinary unit. In Language Arts, students independently read a mythology based novel, read several myths in class, and created an advertisement of a product that could be invented and sold by a god or goddess of their choice. In Social Studies, the students conducted various types of research in the library on Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. They then used their findings to create multimedia slide shows which they presented in class. In Science, students incorporated what they learned about mythology into a heredity project in which they predicted the genotypes and then illustrated the phenotypes of hypothetical mythological offspring.
Below are some pictures of a bulletin board that was created with final products from each class!
