UPDATE: Algebra Connections

With only a few weeks of school left in 2013, the Knights students are ready to say goodbye to topics such as fractions, decimals, percents, order of operations, and other topics that were merely a review from prior years. 

It's time for ALGEBRA!

The students will begin to explore more abstract concepts such as evaluating algebraic expressions, writing equations to solve word problems, and working with both positive and negative integers. Some students may have some anxiety when they hear the word ALGEBRA, but most (if not all) students look forward to the challenge of trying to master algebraic concepts. 

Since the topics within the ALGEBRA unit tend to be more challenging, students will need to increase the amount of time they spend studying/preparing for school. As always, students are encouraged to see Mr. Clonan if they begin to struggle with a particular concept. Students may come in before/during homebase to get extra help!
